Two men and one woman have now been released from custody.

THREE PEOPLE HAVE been released without charge after being arrested over an armed robbery in Cork.

Two masked raiders, one armed with a hammer, entered a shop on St Mary’s Road in Cork city at around 4:25 yesterday afternoon.

One of them threatened a female shop assistant and forced her to hand over cash from the till.

They pair then ran out of the shop down Strawhall onto Farran Street, where they got into a small silver hatchback.

At approximately 5.10pm, gardaí intercepted the car at St. John’s Well.

Two men and a woman, all in their 20s, were arrested and taken to Mayfield and the Bridewell Garda stations.

If you’re caught red handed with the loot and the weapons you should be held on remand and a fast tracked court date set.. Released without charge waiting for the DPP to prepare a file is a joke.. It will be another two or three years before they get to see a judge

There’s not enough jails in this country to put These vermin in. Maybe if people started taking legal action against the state if anybody out on bail or temporary release commit crime against people or property only then will this government act.

They were caught redish handed. In the car that the robbers had escaped in.

I think they should be held on remand till the court case.

They now have a free go at any crime because they will all be lumped together and time will be served as one crime

    A joke.

Yeah let’s bang the all up before they’ve been given a trial. Better still let’s not waste time with a trial at all, let’s just shoot them on the spot eh Johnny ?
