Armed men threaten staff at McDonald's in Crumlin

They left empty-handed and no arrests have been made yet.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a robbery that occurred at a McDonald’s restaurant in the Crumlin area of Dublin earlier today.

Two men entered the premises on Cromwellsfort Road at about 4.30pm. It’s believed they were in possession of firearms.

They threatened staff before leaving the scene empty-handed. No injuries were reported.

Both raiders had their faces covered and gardaí said no better descriptions are available at present.

The scene was preserved and technically examined. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
