Arrest made after teenager stabbed in Dublin

The 19-year-old man has been hospitalised after the stabbing in the early hours of this morning in Rathmines.

AN 18-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after a 19-year-old was stabbed in the early hours of this morning in Rathmines, south Dublin.

The man, 19, was hospitalised following the stabbing on the Lower Rathmines Road shortly before 3am this morning.

An 18-year-old man was arrested and he is being questioned at Rathmines Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The victim is being treated at St James’s Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
