Two men arrested after grow house discovered in Kildare

Two men in their 20s were arrested at the scene.

TWO MEN IN their 20s have been arrested after gardaí discovered a cannabis grow house at a home in Kildare.

The discovery was made last night when officers carried out a planned search of the home on School Lane in The Curragh at around 9pm.

The cannabis plants, which were in various stages of growth, had an estimated street value of €164,000.

The men, one aged 27 and the other aged 29, were arrested at the scene. Both are being questioned at Newbridge Garda station.

The search was carried out as part of an operation targeting drug dealing in the Kildare area, Gardaí said.
