Man dragged out of house and shot in both legs

The incident occurred in Armagh last night.

POLICE IN ARMAGH are appealing for witnesses after a 26-year-old man was shot in both his legs last night.

The incident occurred in the Meadowbrook area of Craigavon in the north of Armagh at 11pm.

A number of men forced their way into a house in the area. They dragged the man into the street outside and shot him in each leg.

The man has been taken to hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives in Lurgan.
