Man arrested after body of woman found in flat

The discovery was made last night.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have arrested a man in connection with the death of a 31-year-old woman.

The woman’s body was discovered at a flat in the Victoria Street area of Lurgan, Co Armagh late last night.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident and is currently being held in police custody.

Police are investigating the incident and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out on the body of the woman in order to determine the cause of death.
