Poll: Should the government do more to keep post offices open?

What do you think – are they still important?

THE DEMAND FOR services that post offices offer have been in decline in recent years, thanks to the convenience of emails, websites, and online forms.

Postmasters across the country are saying that the government needs to invest in post offices by making more government services available through their offices – such as paying for your the motor tax.

Post offices have also been shown to be hugely important for elderly people, who view them as a way to socialise.

So we’re asking you, Do you think the government should be doing more to keep post offices open?
