Gardaí renew appeal for man missing since last year

The man was last seen in the Freshford Road/Talbot Court area of Kilkenny in November of last year.

GARDAÍ IN KILKENNY have renewed an appeal for the public’s help in finding a man who has been missing for more than a year.

Valerijs Zimecs, aged 47, was last seen on Sunday 1 November 2015 at 8am in the Freshford Road/Talbot Court estate area of the city.

According to KLCR News Valerijs, who was living in Carlow, had attended the emergency department at St Lukes Hospital in Kilkenny that morning but left after two hours.

Valerijs is described as being 6” in height, stocky build and has black hair. When last seen he was wearing blue jeans and a grey sweatshirt.

Anyone who has seen Valerijs or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Kilkenny garda station on 056 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
