There's more warm weather on the way this weekend

Sunday might bring some rain and cloud, though.

DID YOU ENJOY the sunny weather today?

Well there’s more of that on the way for Saturday and Sunday, according to Met Éireann.

Saturday

Cloud will increase from the northwest tomorrow night, with patchy rain or drizzle developing on Atlantic coasts overnight.

But the day it’s set to clear into a dry, bright day, with good sunny spells generally.

Lowest temperatures between six to eight degrees and the wind will be light to moderate. Top temperatures will be in the mid- to high-teens in sunshine, but the low teens along exposed southern and eastern coasts.

Southern sunshine will turn hazy in southern and eastern coastal counties (sorry) and sea fog may affect parts of the coasts at times.

Moderate south to southeasterly breezes, may become fresh in some coastal areas.

Sunday

A cooler feel to the day on Sunday caused by southwesterly winds veering to the northwest during the course of the day.

It will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of April showers spreading eastwards across the northern half of the country during the morning and afternoon.

South and southeastern counties get the best of the weather this time – as they are likely to remain mostly dry, say Met Éireann.

Highest temperatures 11-14 degrees, perhaps touching 15 degrees in the southeast.
