Tony Bennett's sell-out Dublin concert has been cancelled

The 19-time Grammy winner was due to perform this Sunday.

TONY BENNETT’S DUBLIN concert has been cancelled.

The 90-year-old American singer, who was due to perform at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this Sunday, has a flu virus and has been advised by his medical doctor to rest and recover for the next few days.

Bord Gáis Energy Theatre said in a release tonight:

“Tony sends his deepest regrets to all his fans in Ireland that he will not be able to perform for them, as he was greatly looking forward to being back in Ireland again where he has received such a warm response from audiences over the years.”
