Post-mortem to be carried out on body of woman found in Blanchardstown

Gardaí searching for a missing woman discovered the remains yesterday.

A POST-MORTEM is due to be carried out today on the body of a woman discovered in Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí searching for a missing woman discovered the remains at around 2pm in an area of undergrowth in the Coolmine woods area of Blanchardstown, west Dublin.

She has yet to be identified.

Gardaí had been conducting searches for Linda Christian, a 29-year-old woman who went missing three weeks ago.

The post-mortem will be carried out later today.
