Woman in critical condition after she was knocked off her bike in west Dublin

The incident happened at 3.30pm on Friday.

A WOMAN IS in a critical condition in hospital after she was knocked off her bike by a car in west Dublin.

The woman (30) was cycling on the Oak Road in Clondalkin when the incident occurred at around 3.30pm on Friday.

The female driver of the car (31) was uninjured.

A garda spokeswoman said: “Gardaí are appealing to any persons who may have witnesses the collision or who travelled on the Oak Road on Friday afternoon at 3.30pm approximately, and who may have dashcam equipment to assist them in their investigation to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 6667600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.”
