5 Irish cinemas showing family-friendly Christmas classics this December

Don’t be a cotton-headed ninny muggins.

It’s all well and good snuggling up at home to watch a Christmas movie, but what about watching it on the big screen? There’s better visuals, surround sound and, not to forget, cinema popcorn (or nachos, we won’t judge).

There’s even more of a reason to go if you missed your favourite Christmas movie when it came to the cinema the first time around. Plus, you can go under the guise of bringing the kids when, in reality, it’s mostly for you.

From classics to new releases, these are some of the best family-friendly Christmas movie screenings around the country throughout the month of December…

DUBLIN

Naughty Or Nice Season at Light House Cinema: With Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Elf and The Muppet Christmas Carol just some of the family-friendly Christmas movies on show, you might want to take more than one trip to the Light House Cinema. Screenings are likely to sell out as Christmas approaches, so be sure to book in advance.

Elf and Home Alone at Brooks Hotel: With just 26 seats, you’ll feel like you’re in your own private cinema.
