5. Layer a rug: You wouldn’t think doors could be trendy, but layering an outdoor rug or mat underneath one is a top front door trend. @larahinga goes with a black and white combination, and sets a monogram doormat on top of a gingham check rug for a tonne of contrast that brings interest to the front door.
