Gardaí investigating death of baby in Waterford house

Gardaí said the infant died in “unexplained circumstances”.

GARDAÍ HAVE LAUNCHED an investigation into the death of a baby in Co Waterford. 

Gardaí said the infant died in “unexplained circumstances” at a house in Waterford at 2pm yesterday. 

A post-mortem is due to be carried out. 

A garda spokesperson said that the results will determine the course of the investigation.
