'There's a home for everything now': Sinead shares her master bedroom makeover

A walk-in wardrobe means plenty of extra storage space.

EACH WEEK, WE ask someone based in Ireland with a passion for interiors to share one photo of their favourite spot in their home.

Sinead Bride, a trained interior designer, lives with her husband and three children in Co Laois.

“Interior design is something I’ve loved all my life,” she says.

This week, Sinead (@sorelle.home) shares a bedroom makeover she worked on for a very important client indeed – herself.

What do you love about this part of your home?

We built our home 20 years ago and never really put any effort into our bedroom, wardrobe and en suite, so I am delighted to finally have a bedroom to be proud of.

What’s your favourite object in here and why?

My favourite part is the amount of storage space I have in my walk-in wardrobe. At long last, everything is behind doors and tidied away. I used every inch of space and have a home for everything now.

What was your inspiration when you were putting this room together?

My aim was to create a luxurious feel, alongside great storage, natural light and make to best use of the space. The ceilings are very low in areas and head-height is compromised, but the best use was made of the space.

Be honest: how much tidying did you do before taking this photo?

There was no tidying involved as it’s honestly very easy keep this room clean now that everything has a home.

Is there anything in here you’d like to change?

If I could change anything it would be the ceiling height in the compromised areas, but otherwise I’m happy with it.
