Get The Look: 6 interiors buys inspired by Gillian's coffee-and-reading nook

Want to create your own bedroom zen zone? Here are some pieces to get you started.

Each week, we step inside a reader’s home, and indulge in some copycat behaviour, creating a shopping list inspired by their interior style.

This week, Gillian Karaiskos’ bedroom relaxation zone was our inspiration.

“My inspiration for this space came from some of the hotels we’ve stayed in in the past,” says Gillian.

I wanted to create a corner of our bedroom where I could sit with a coffee or a glass of wine and just enjoy the view or flick through a magazine.

Paint-wise, Gillian opted for Farrow and Ball’s Light Blue, with interiors from Cox & Cox, Graham & Green, Pooky.com for lighting and Fy for prints. And the chairs? Those were sourced from one of Gillian’s favourite local spots in Antrim, Wild About Flowers

Feeling inspired and ready to to create your own zen zone? Below are six high-street products that’ll help you get Gillian’s look in your own home…

1. Audrey chair in royal blue, €130 (was €174), Cult Furniture

Those lavish blue chairs are clearly the stand-out in Gillian’s space. Add some grandeur to your bedroom with these royal blue velvet seats.
