Search for missing man stood down after body located

An Garda Síochána has thanked all search and rescue agencies who assist them.

A SEARCH FOR a missing man in Co Galway has been stood down following the discovery of a body.

24-year-old Stephen Hilton had been missing from the Rahoon area since Sunday, 9 May. 

Following the discovery of a body in Inverin today, the search for Stephen has been stood down. 

An Garda Síochána has thanked all search and rescue agencies who assist them in the investigation. 

Gardaí have also thanked the media and the public for their assistance in the matter.
