Will you watch the Wicked movie?

The first film of the two-part adaptation is proving popular.

WICKED IS SET to have the highest grossing opening weekend of any Broadway musical adaptation following its release in cinemas on Friday.

The film is expected to rake in $164 million worldwide over its opening weekend, which would overtake Les Miserables’ record from 2012.

The movie stars US pop singer Ariana Grande and British actress Cynthia Erivo, as well as Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey and Michelle Yeoh.
