Man wounded in Dublin city centre assault

The assault occurred at the corner of Parnell St and Gardiner St.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an assault that took place in Dublin city centre this evening.

A garda spokesperson said that an assault occurred on the corner of Parnell St and Gardiner St at about 9.15pm.

The victim received a wound to their face but was not seriously injured.

There have been no arrests as yet.

Reports from the scene said that blood could be seen at a shop on the corner where the two streets meet.
