Man hospitalised after assault in Dundalk

Gardaí are investigating but no arrests have been made.

A MAN HAS been hospitalised after being attacked in Dundalk this evening.

It happened in the Muirhevnamor estate in the town at around 7.45pm.

The man in his 20s has been taken to hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

It’s understood that he was assaulted by one person.

Gardaí are investigating but no arrests have been made and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
