Man, 20, undergoes surgery for 'serious head injuries' in Lisburn attack

PSNI detectives are appealing for information about the attack.

DETECTIVES IN NORTHERN Ireland are appealing for information following an assault in the Sackville Street area in the early hours of this morning.

At around 1.15 am, a 20-year-old man was assaulted by another man.

The victim sustained serious head injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital where he has undergone surgery.

Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Detectives at Lisburn station on 00 44 845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

    so familiar – just a bit of advice don’t attend a job interview 10 weeks after giving birth and have the baby looked after just outside the door! the first cry and the shirt was soaked. the guys interviewing me didn’t know where to look! I did get the job though and pumped and fed through the next two years
