Astronaut Scott Kelly posed with an Irish artist’s work IN SPACE

Great work.

TWO WEEKS AGO, Irish artist Jack Conway-Kenny posted this brilliant portrait of NASA astronaut Scott Kelly in his space gear.

He showed us the process from beginning

To end

Kelly has since been brought back down to earth, but on Wednesday night he posted a photo of himself in space holding none other than Jack’s brilliant sketch.

Jack was only delighted with the surprise, writing:

Amazing news to wake up to, thanks a million @stationcdrkelly for the shoutout, glad you liked it!

Your art in space… does it get much better than that?
