This is the seven-seat Audi Q7 SUV and this particular examples costs €83,055.

What’s so special about it?

It’s super-sized, super spacious, super smooth and super stylish too. It is perfect for large family who actually need to use seven seats all the time: the two seats at the very back are actually usable and with all seven seats occupied there is still room for luggage in the boot.

Any standout design features?

As with most Audi models the interior is a highlight. It is so well made and screwed together and the materials are top quality with lots of soft surfaces, smooth leather and cool chrome accents.

This particular model comes in S-Line trim and is very well appointed. The cabin features Valcona leather upholstery, heated front sports seats, the brilliant Audi Virtual Cockpit and a lovely three-spoke leather sports steering wheel with multi-function controls. It is a very comfortable and classic cabin.

And what powers this Audi Q7?

Underneath its large bonnet lies a 3.0-litre TDI ultra quattro diesel engine that produces 218hp at 3250-4750 rpm and 500Nm of torque at 1250-3000rpm. It is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox and has Audi’s four-wheel drive Quattro system.

This setup propels the Q7 from a standstill to 100km/h in 7.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 216km/h.

Does the Audi Q7 have any luxurious touches?

This car costs €83k so as you would expect it is dripping with luxurious touches. Being an S-Line model it gets special sport design features and options including 20-inch alloy wheel, a reversing camera with front and rear park assist, an electronic opening and closing tailgate, Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and automatic climate control.

But who would drive this car?

This car is built for large families and those who who ferry around a lot of kids and kit. It is for someone who is looking for a big, powerful SUV that will cover great distances in comfort whilst keeping their precious cargo safe.
