What’s this then?
This is the Audi R8 V10 plus. It is the fastest series-production Audi of all time. It also costs a pretty penny with this 2018-registered example coming in at an eye-watering €331,821.
What’s so special about it?
This two-seat, mid-engine supercar is built almost exclusively by hand. From the welding of the body shell to the completion of assembly, small, highly qualified teams give the R8 its unique shape.
Any standout design features?
There are plenty of standout design features on the car’s exterior. Have a look at those split ‘sideblades’ finished in gloss carbon and that super wide rear with retractable rear spoiler, they give the car such road presence. And that detailed but not fussy front grille and low profile just add to that presence. It is made from a combination of aluminium and carbon fibre and weighs in at just 1,595kg.
And what powers this Audi R8 V10 plus?
Under the hood of this model is a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 petrol engine, which makes 610hp and 560Nm of torque. It is paired with a rapid-shifting seven-speed S tronic transmission installed behind the engine. The S tronic has three automatic modes and can also be controlled manually. It also has Audi’s quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.
All these combine to help propel this supercar from standing to 100km/h in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it 3.2 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 9.9 seconds, and on to a top speed of 330 km/h.
Does the Audi R8 V10 plus have any luxurious touches?
This particular R8 V10 plus comes with a host of option boxes ticked and extras like gorgeous 20-inch, 10-spoke gloss black alloy wheels with grey brake calipers.
It also has the V10 plus Titanium Black Styling Pack which adds a number of slick exterior details. The interior has nearly all the option boxes ticked including the funky orange contrasting trim as well as heated seats, the digital cockpit display and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
But who would drive this car?
Who wouldn’t drive it? Car aficionados love the R8 V10 plus. It looks like a supercar and drives like a supercar but is a little bit more low-key than some other exotic models. So if you are after a fast car that flies under the radar than most other supercars, the Audi R8 V10 plus is the car for you.

@Todd Hebert: The DUP are not being petulant or immature imo. As I see it, they’re fastidiously implementing a strategy of stalling and ultimately destroying the GFA. Since it negotiations and through the entire life of the GFA, the DUP have never lived up to the GFA and they have no intention of ever living up to it. Their vote increased by .8 in the last election so they have a mandate and they’re looked after by British establishment. What is Ireland’s role? We should push for border polls imo

Israel/Palestine and Russia/Ukraine peace talks would be easier than trying to get the DUP to accept that there’s going to be a Nationalist First Minister. That’s been the issue all along. The Protocol was and is only a handy cover for their bigotry. The DUP only like democracy when it suits them. They don’t like when democracy gives them the answers they don’t like. They will never change, most of them don’t even believe in evolution, they’re stuck in the 1690’s and the modern thinkers of theirs still think it’s the 1920’s. They’ll never be pleased.
