A wild wagon. A car with buckets of performance and masses of space. The fastest estate car on the market and one that looks the business both inside and out. A car that is highly desirable and incredible to drive. I’d buy an Audi RS 6 Avant.
Why an Audi RS 6 Avant?
Did you not read the above paragraph? This car is so accomplished in every way. It is the ultimate estate car. The car you really really want but probably don’t need, unless of course you need to get a lot of cargo somewhere fast (we won’t ask). It looks impressive and cool and has a sporty but luxurious interior. But it’s not all about looks, this car is intoxicating to drive with excellent feedback and engagement, not to mention eye-watering performance too.
What’s special about this particular one?
This particular car is the more powerful performance model. It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 TFSI engine that makes a massive 605hp at 6,100-6,800rpm and 700Nm of torque or 750Nm in overboost mode and can do the 0-100km/h dash in a super fast 3.7 seconds. The RS 6 Avant is the quickest estate you can buy.
It has quattro permanent all-wheel drive with self-locking center differential and an 8-speed tiptronic transmission with DSP and sport program.
As well as being super fast it is also super practical: its luggage capacity is 565 litres with the rear seats up and a huge 1,680 litres with the rear seats down.
This particular model also comes very well specced and has all the luxuries you would expect including metallic paint finish, five-spoke Star Black alloys, LED headlights with LED rear lights and dynamic rear indicators and privacy glass. The cabin features S sports seats finished in black quilted leather and a three-spoke multifunctional flat-bottom steering wheel.

Who else drives one?
The Audi RS 6 is very popular with adventure seekers and speed freaks. Mr. Fast and Furious himself, Paul Walker, loved the Audi RS 6 Avant so much that he had one imported from Japan to the US as they weren’t sold in America. David Beckham bought an RS 6 in 2009 and another United player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, also owns an Audi RS 6 Avant.
Perhaps the coolest Audi RS 6 Avant belonged to Swedish freeskier, Jon Olsson who had his wild wagon tuned to a stonking 1,000hp, then raced it in the 2015 Gumball 3000.
