Grivko is three seconds behind, alongside Rabobank’s Spanish rider Carlos Barredo Llamazales in a tie for third.

World time trial champion Tony Martin grabbed fifth place, five seconds behind. Reigning Tour de France champion Cadel Evans was equal-eighth six seconds behind his Australian compatriot.
