Insurance company acquires part of Aviva, creating 25 new jobs

Earlier this year, insurance broker Campion also acquired part of the general insurance business of Aviva Direct.

CAMPION INSURANCE, ONE of Ireland’s largest insurance brokers has today announced the acquisition of part of Aviva Direct Life & Pensions, which will create 25 new jobs.

Earlier this year, Campion also acquired part of the general insurance business of Aviva Direct bringing 15,000 new customers to the company.

The firm has 11 offices in ten counties across the country, employing over 150 people nationally.

“This acquisition should be seen as a strategically important step in our ambition to offer customers complete and flexible insurance solutions,” commented Jim Campion, CEO of Campion Insurance this evening.

He said that both Campion and Aviva clients will benefit from the “collaborative expertise” as well as additional products ans services.
