Dublin City Council issue rainfall warning ahead of continued bad weather

The warning comes as 50 millimetres of rain is said to have fallen in the Dublin area over the last 24-hours.

DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL (DCC) have today issued a rainfall warning in light of the 50 millimetres of rain which have fallen over the last 24-hours.

The DCC said that that drainage staff had dealt with nearly ’100 localised road flooding incidents’ and would continue to monitor the situation throughout the day.

Met Éireann are also warning of local flooding in the East and North of the country, with gales and severe gusts expected tonight.
