You never know who you’ll meet – down in Brogans.

IN CASE YOU hadn’t heard – the Secretary General of the UN is in Ireland at the moment.

He picked up the Tipperary Peace Prize on Sunday, met President Higgins at the Áras yesterday – and was up early this morning for a chat with the Taoiseach.

Along the way (we won’t let you out of the country otherwise, apparently) the 40th most powerful man in the world made time to stop into Brogans, on Dublin’s Dame Street, for a pint of Guinness – even trying his hand at the famous two-step pour.
