Watch a 12-year-old student shut a rambling Barack Obama down

“I think you’ve sort of covered everything about that question.”

Associated Press / YouTube

YOU CAN BE the most powerful man in the world, but that doesn’t mean a 12-year-old has to let you talk.

Barack Obama was speaking at an event today in Washington DC when 12-year-old moderator Osman Yahya shut him down.

Speaking in response to a question about writer’s block, Obama began to ramble. Usually, the 44th President of the US would be allowed indulge.

Not with Osman, who prodded Obama.

“I think you’ve sort of covered everything about that question.”

Obama took it well, in fairness.
