Glenveagh homes needs to do a bit of research. The 550 acre Castletown house estate is in Celbridge and not Leixlip. (As stated in the article.)

@Garrett Kelleher: actually the Castletown estate is in both Leixlip and Celbridge. When it was built both Celbridge and Leixlip were part of the same estate.

@Garrett Kelleher: I live in Castletown estate (housing estate) in Leixlip. It exists. Built in early 70s 400 or so houses. Castletown housing estate in Leixlip predates Castletown housing estate in Celbridge. It has always caused confusion to those not from here. The estate being advertised is being built beside Castletown housing estate in Leixlip, not in Celbridge. Both are built on former lands of Castletown house the 18th century mansion, in Celbridge Co. Kildare, but whose lands extended to what is now western Leixlip.

we went there to see wonder barn and houses. Beautiful area, houses cheap and nice BUT the amount of noise from motorway is nuts. That is why they are so cheap. Another new estate. 5 min drive, houses are 60K more but no noise from the road.

@Aleksei Harlasov: in Leixlip, you will breath in toxic air from Intel and the M4, never get a seat on the train when everyone gets back and spend your life commuting

… and sit in traffic on the N4 going to and from work daily, if you work outside of Leixlip.
