It tells the story of the Eternals, a collective of extraterrestrial beings tasked with protecting the Earth since the dawn of mankind.

Believing their task complete, the Eternals disbanded hundreds of years ago – but the re-emergence of monstrous creatures called the Deviants, thought lost to history, forces them to reunite and defend humanity once again.

And of course, there’s that cameo at the end – suggesting that this is only the beginning for the Eternals.
