Gardaí investigate after attempted killer escapes on bike

There have been no arrests in connection with the shooting in Belcamp.

A GUNMAN ESCAPED on a bike after firing three shots at a woman earlier this week.

There were no injuries in the shooting, which occurred on Belcamp Grove in Priorswood in Dublin on Tuesday.

The attack happened just before 7pm and gardaí are believed to be treating it as an attempted murder.

A man approached the woman’s house on a bike and knocked on the door. When the woman arrived, he fired three shots, which all missed, at her.

The man then escaped on the bike.

Gardaí in Coolock are looking for information and are appealing to any witness to contact them on 01 666 4282.
