Gun held to woman's head in daylight attack

Police are looking for a man of stocky build with dark coloured hair.

THE PSNI ARE appealing for witnesses after a woman was threatened at gunpoint near Belfast last night.

The incident took place in the Colinvale area of Dunmurry after 6pm.

A man called to a house in the area and pointed a gun at a female occupant.

He’s described as being in his mid-20′s, approximately 5 ‘ 8” tall, of stocky build with dark coloured hair and wearing a blue hoodie.

The man is believed to have then made off in a gold-coloured Toyota Yaris.

The PSNI’s Detective Constable Wallace is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information about the movements of the gold Toyota to contact detectives in Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101.

Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
