Three people in hospital after collision between police vehicle and car in Belfast

Police said their enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision are continuing.

THREE PEOPLE HAVE been taken to hospital following a collision between a police vehicle and a car in west Belfast earlier today.

“Shortly after 3:50pm, it was reported that a police vehicle and a car were involved in the collision at the Grosvenor Road area,” a PSNI inspector said.

“Two officers, and the male driver of the other vehicle, have been taken to hospital for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.

“The road is clear and traffic is flowing freely in the area.”

Police said their enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision are continuing, “and we would appeal to any witnesses, or anyone who might have captured any dash cam or mobile phone footage, to get in touch”.
