Two brothers have been sending each other this brilliant birthday card for 43 years

We’d like Ron and Jeff to be our brothers.

THIS BATTERED OLD card tells a lovely story of pragmatism, tradition and friendship.

Redditor venusreincarnate shared these pictures of a 42-year-old birthday card belonging to his father and uncle.

The two brothers, Ron and Jeff, have been sending it to each other every year for over four decades.

According to DailyEdge.ie, it appears the two men took the message on the inside of the card (“Don’t throw this card away… Recycle it to a friend!”) very seriously.

The card was first sent in 1973, and has been going forward and backwards ever since. Except for those two years that Ron ‘forgot to sign’.

Oh Ron.
