Here's the average price of a home in Blackrock, Cork in 2018

According to the latest figures from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Blackrock, Cork is now just over €314,000, according to the latest data.

Analysis by Daft.ie of list prices across all properties in the area in the last three months of 2017 puts the average at €314,441.

This puts Blackrock in the top tier of neighbourhoods by price across Cork city and county. Only a handful, including nearby Rochestown and upmarket Kinsale, are more expensive.

The average list price of a property in Rochestown is €327,000, while in Kinsale it is €353,000.

Prices in Blackrock, however, have risen far faster than in other locations. Asking prices have rocketed by almost 82 per cent since their lowest level in 2012. The equivalent figure in both Kinsale and Rochestown is around 55 per cent.

Across Cork city and county, the average asking price is around €236,000. The equivalent figure in Dublin is just over €402,000.
