Young man in a critical condition after motorbike hits fence

The man was seriously injured after his bike hit fencing on the side of a road near Blarney last night.

A YOUNG MAN is in a critical condition in hospital after his motorcycle hit a fence on the side of a road near Blarney in Co Cork yesterday.

The 20-year-old male was seriously injured when his bike hit the fencing at Booleypatrick, Blarney on the Tower to Blarney Road in Cork just after 11pm last night.

The man is described as being in a critical condition in Cork University Hospital.

Any person who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact gardaí at Gurranabraher on 021 494 6200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
