THE BODY OF a man has been found in Co Clare during a massive search of the area.

The 65-year-old man was found by volunteers at 2.20pm on flooded land near Moyree, Ruan.

The body was found during a massive search of the area for a missing man.

Clare FM reports that gardaí, civil defence, Doolin Coastguard, and a rescue helicopter were involved.
