Gardaí investigate discovery of a body in Edenderry

The body of a man, believed to have been in his sixties, was discovered in a house in Sister Senan Court

THE BODY OF a man has been found at a house in County Offaly.

The discovery was made shortly before 3pm today at a house in Sister Senan Court in Edenderry.

He is believed to have been in his sixties.

Gardaí are investigating the discovery.

The body remains at the scene, which has been sealed off for a forensic examination.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been informed of the incident.
