Body found in Kildare field identified as missing Dublin father

Gardaí are appealing for information from anyone who might have seen unusual activity in the Moyvalley area in late November.

GARDAÍ HAVE CONFIRMED that a body found in a Co Kildare field yesterday is that of missing Dublin man 31 year old Jason O’Dea.

O’Dea, a father-of-one, had been reported missing from his accommodation at Buckingham Street Lower, Dublin 1 on 27 November 2010.

A post mortem examination was carried out at Naas General Hospital today, however further tests are due to take place. Gardaí are continuing to search the place where the body was found and an investigation is ongoing.

Gardaí are asking for information from witnesses that might have seen unusual activity in the Moyvalley area in late November.

Those with information are asked to call Leixlip garda station on 01 666 7800.
