Body recovered in search for teenager missing at Dublin reservoir

The 16-year-old went missing this afternoon while out swimming with friends.

A LARGE-SCALE SEARCH at a reservoir near Tallaght in south county Dublin has been stood down, after a body was found.

It’s understood the 16-year-old went missing while swimming with friends at the lake in Bohernabreena.

Emergency services were alerted at around 4pm, and a search of the area began.

Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade both responded.

A body was found shortly afterwards, and a recovery operation conducted.
