Appeal for witnesses after armed men assaulted staff at Dublin bookmakers last night

It happened at around 8:40 last night.

A DUBLIN BOOKMAKERS was robbed by men armed with a shotgun last night.

The two men threatened and assaulted staff before leaving the shop on Sundrive Road, Dublin 12 at around 8:40pm.

Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The first man was wearing a red coloured hoodie top, grey tracksuit bottoms, black gloves and was carrying a green plastic shopping bag.

The second man is described as being of heavy build wearing a grey coloured Adidas hoodie top. This man was wearing a balaclava.

The scene was preserved and technically examined.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at Sundrive Road Garda Station on 01 6666600, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
