Boy (4) dies after incident at swimming pool in England

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

A FOUR-YEAR-OLD BOY has died following an incident at a swimming pool in England.

Cumbria Police have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.

Police were called to Old Park Wood Caravan Park in Grange-over-Sands at 4.40pm yesterday.

The boy was taken to Furness General Hospital before being transferred to Alder Hey Hospital, where he died.

In a statement, Cumbria Police said: “Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident but the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
