Six-year-old boy seriously injured after being hit by bus

Gardaí are appealing for information.

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a bus.

The boy was hit at around 4pm today on the Bantry Road in Dunmanway, Cork.

He was taken from the scene by ambulance to Cork University Hospital.

The road is currently partially closed to traffic and Garda forensic collision investigators have been requested to examine the scene. Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
