Pedestrian killed and driver injured in collision near Bray

Diversion are in place to allow for a forensic examination for the scene.

A MALE PEDESTRIAN has died after being struck by a car on the N11 near Bray this evening.

Gardaí are investigating the incident, in which the driver of the car was also injured. She was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital, although her condition is unknown.

The pedestrian, a man in his late 30s or early 40s, was struck by the car around 7.40pm this evening,

Diversions are in place between Junctions 7 and 8 on the N11 as gardaí carry out a forensic examination of the scene.

Gardaí have asked that anyone who was in the area, or who has any information about the incident, to contact Bray Garda station on 01 6665300.
