Brother and sister die in Co Cork house fire

Two have died in a house fire which broke out in the early hours of this morning in Midleton, Co Cork.

A MAN AND a woman have died in a house fire that broke out in the early hours of this morning in Co Cork.

It is understood that the pair were and elderly brother and sister that lived at the house in East Ferry, Midleton, reports PA.

The blaze broke out at about at 5.15am and initial investigations have indicated that it began accidentally. However, the scene has been sealed off for further technical examinations, RTÉ reports.
