Man rushed to hospital after suffering 25ft fall from scaffolding today in Dublin

Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene at Bull Island earlier today.

DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE attended the scene earlier, where a man rushed to hospital this afternoon after falling from 25ft off scaffolding at Bull Island.

The incident occurred at the Royal Dublin Golf Club.

The North Strand Fire Engine and Ambulance Service helped the man using spinal precautions, and gave him pain relief using an IV drip.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene, before transferring him to hospital.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade told TheJournal.ie that the man was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was conscious on arrival. The extent of his injuries are currently unknown.
