Four teens arrested in operation targeting burglary gangs

The arrests were made in Tullamore, Co Offaly.

GARDAÍ IN TULLAMORE have arrested four males as part of an ongoing operation targeting organised criminal groups involved in burglary.

The four were arrested as part of “Operation Fiacla”, when members of the Garda Regional Support Unit assisted by Traffic Corps stopped a car near Tullamore, Co Offaly.

Implements typically used in burglaries were recovered from the vehicle.

The males, who are all aged in their late teens, are currently being detained under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Tullamore Garda Station.
